AG Interactive is looking for Art Director
Starting Date: Immediately , duration - Permanent
Job details: The Art Director uses leadership, creativity and knowledge of Multimedia techniques and the knowledge of the online social communication media to innovate, plan and direct the aesthetics of a variety of products. Responsible for assuring content is creative, promoting the salability of the on-line subscription, error-free and on time. The Art Director accomplishes this through personal efforts and by effectively managing Creative Multimedia Developers along with outside freelancers. Also, as part of core responsibilities, the Art Director also participates in establishing schedules, policies and procedures, and product plans in conjunction with the Content Development Group.
Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a good sense of graphic design and typography and be highly skilled at computer drawing. H/she will have the ability to animate people, objects and animals in Flash. Candidates must also have sound understanding of interactive entertainment, thorough understanding of concept and/or character development as well as design and color theory. Strong knowledge of the preparation of artwork for reproduction and knowledge of on-line technology is vital.
Bachelor's Degree in Illustration, Graphic Design or equivalent experience is required.
