I have a character with a tank on his back and a hose that leads from the tank to his hand, and he's going to be moving it around spraying things, how do i rig the hose to bend and move between the tank and the characters hand

The tank and hand attachpoints should be the constraints of both hose ends

Is there any way to attach objects to an existing rigged character?
Like say adding the tanks on the characters back after the character is rigged? cuz i am lookin at attacking the tanks to the mesh and having to re-rig this model
Id prefer to not have to re-do it all
