FLW International LLC is looking for Character Rigger TD
Starting Date: asap , duration - permanent
Job details: As a Character Rigger you will be responsible for concepting skeletal rigs, creating animation rigs, and communicating your ideas of how humans and creatures move, directing the character rigging process in cohesion with the animation and modeling teams.
1. must demonstrate ability to create clean, efficient, flexible and deformable character rigs
2. must be an expert MAYA user
3. fluency in MEL scripting is a must [API/C++ knowledge a bonus]
4. must show ability to create MEL production tools and scripts
5. 2-3 years of character rigging experience
6. should be proficient with skeletal building and mesh weighting in 3DS MAX [MAXscript proficiency a bonus]
7. should have knowledge with animation transfer between similar and different characters
8. knowledge of HAVOK character setup is a bonus
9. knowledge of video game physics and collision systems overviews is a bonus
10. must be able to optimize and improve existing pipelines
11. must be able to brainstorm and prototype new pipeline methods
12. must communicate clearly with animation, modeling and cinematics team
13. must be a team player
14. a penchant for playing video games is not mandatory but encouraged
