Job details: Senior Visual FX Artist Description:
Draw on strong artistic and technical skills to add dramatic flair to environments, characters, cinematics, and more through the creative use of effects.
Help staff and lead a small group of artists to conceptualize and create visuals for next-gen platforms.
Create effects to include rigid body dynamics, particles and shaders to simulate the effects of explosions, smoke, fire, steam, fog, rain, flowing water, etc., and create natural phenomena like leaves and debris flowing in the wind.

Qualifications/Education:
Art related college degree
Strong traditional art/animation skills
At least five years industry experience;
At least two years of applicable VFX experience
Fluent knowledge of at least one major 3D package (3DS MAX, Maya, Softimage)
Fluent knowledge of Premiere, After Effects, Combustion, or similar compositing software
Skilled in 3D graphics, particle systems, dynamics, shaders, etc.
Ability to quickly master proprietary tools and development processes
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, or comparable program
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
