Dimension X Entertainment Inc. is looking for Video Editor
Starting Date: July , duration - 6 weeks Internship, on review
Job details: Collaborate with project team for shooting and digitizing.
Editing and encoding for delivery via DVD, CD or web.
Digitizing & FTP for web streaming, maintaining video library, duplication/packaging,
Assisting on video shoots.
Will be required to assist co-workers for shooting, production, and audio & video production.
Evolve ideas in conjunction with a team, understand concept detail, and ensure artwork is completed within development timeframe.
Maintain documentation of the progress on weekly basis.
Demonstrate commitment to creative collaboration in a time-committed environment.
Must be proactive with strong organizational skills.
Requirements: Certificate/Diploma in at least 1 year film/editing course or equivalent training
Passion for interactive Visual Effects and compositing.
Working knowledge of Adobe Premier, After Effects and expertise in any Editing or Compositing tool.
Understanding of elements of video production such as script, Camera, audio, pre-production flow and FTP/streaming.
The ideal candidate would have a background in broadcast promotions, as well as 30 second retail spots and could work on long format industrial / marketing presentations as needed.
Candidates must be proficient in Final Cut Pro Studio, Photoshop, and After Effects.
Experience with Dream weaver, Flash, Cleaner Pro, Maya, will be plus.
A current reel is required with Editing/Shooting/Composting work.
