FLW International LLC is looking for Lead Character Modeler
Starting Date: asap , duration - permanent
Job details: Responsibilities:
The ability to create highly detailed, realistic 3D models and 2D texture maps based off of 2D concept art.
Over sees the character development on each project to ensure that development occurs in an efficient manner, while meeting project goals, and maintaining quality control.
Works effectively with external resources for creating multiple characters across multiple projects.
Works closely with other artists to ensure consistency of characters.
Works with the in-house production staff to meet the required level of excellence.
Requirements:
Extensive experience with character modeling and UV mapping using Maya (Poly, NURB, and Sub-D).
Understanding of human anatomy, facial deformation, and edge loop modeling.
Photoshop skill in texture creation/ editing for 3D characters.
Advanced understanding of binding, rigging and character set-up.
Excellent communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to accept direction, work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and be flexible and open to changes.
You need to be efficient, reliable, self motivated, and passionate about your work Requiring minimal supervision.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of industry experience.
