Job details: Director of Studio Operations Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the studio.

Primary Responsibilities:
o Partner with project leads, executive external producer and studio analyst to determine and track hiring plans for all projects internal and external.
o Partner with studio analyst to provide accurate studio staff analysis (by discipline) across all projects to inform appropriate use of resources, forecast future development staff and achieve studio budget objectives.
o Manage the overall SKU plan, overseeing and tracking all timelines on all projects. With a constant eye on efficiency, help drive the logistics and strategic direction of all product development.
o Responsible for all space planning needs for the studio. Partner with workplace services, recruiting, studio analyst, and others as needed.
o Responsible for the post-mortem process for all projects, ensuring accurate capture and distribution of meaningful data.
o Assist with Singapore staffing effort and the company-wide intern program, working collaboratively to achieve all business objectives as they relate to studio staffing.
o Act as LucasArts point person for all company cross-training programs. Work with ILM and Lucasfilm Animation to develop and implement training programs.
o Responsible for the writing of all studio job descriptions, partnering with hiring managers as needed. Review and analyze staffing structures and recommend changes where appropriate.
o Oversee the ordering and fulfillment of all hardware and software for the development department. Maintain relationships of good standing with hardware First Parties.
o Responsible for the beautification of the LucasArts common space, ensuring a compelling look and feel that is representative of our games.
o Contribute to the implementation of the combined studio budget.
o Responsible for the ongoing streamlining of studio operational processes.
o Other project work as appropriate.

Direct Reports: Administrative Assistant to Director of Studio Operations

Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Position requires 7 or more years of experience in the gaming industry.
A demonstrated ability in establishing productive working relationships across the organization.
Strong inter-personal skills a must.
Able to foster communication and direct efforts across departments.
Demonstrate exceptional organization, communication and management skills.
Demonstrate an ability to handle multiple demands, be flexible, maintain professionalism, and display finesse in a creative environment.
Must be self-directed, detail oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to a uniquely creative environment.
