Plastic Wax is looking for Compositor/Editor
Starting Date: ASAP , duration - 3 months
Job details: Plastic Wax is an animation studio based in Sydney Australia, specialising in character animation for videogames, film and television. The company has been involved in high profile productions such as Constantine, Lara Croft, Ghost Rider, Justice League and S.T.A.L.K.E.R and with an ever-increasing client base we are actively seeking applicants with competent creative skills to be part of this exciting phase of the companys development. In addition to domestic Australian growth the company has recently opened a studio facility in Shanghai and is looking to expand internationally over the coming months.
Requirements: We require an immediate start, and are looking for applicants with the following skills and experience:
Excellent 3D compositing/lighting skills as demonstrated on your demo reel. A working knowledge of Final Cut Pro would be a bonus
Experience rendering high-resolution scenes in 3D software such as 3DS Max, as well as compositing experience within a 3D character animation production environment
Outstanding eye for light, shade, color and detail
Ability to fine-tune work at the pixel level
Must work well in a team environment and be open to direction
Must be a good communicator and well organised
Passion for film, animation and video games
Previous experience compositing/lighting high-poly art in the game or movie industries would be considered a big plus.
