Job details: General Summary
A recruiter position for LAIKA is a position that must be dynamic, energetic and dedicated to building our Studio talent. This position involves recruiting for both salaried and hourly, production and non production positions. It works closely with hiring managers, in performing the job responsibilities associated with sourcing; identifying, interviewing and selecting qualified candidates to join LAIKAs team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Partnering with hiring managers to discuss current and forecasted hiring needs and prioritize as needed.
Using a variety of recruiting methods to source hard-to-find candidates
Working with hiring managers to prepare job briefs with flare for web postings and newspaper ads and any other appropriate sources
Effectively manage recruiting for assigned open positions and entire process for each candidate as they move through the hiring process
Screening of resumes and reel materials in various formats
Conducting phone screens and providing feedback to hiring managers and sr. recruiter
Assisting hiring managers and sr. recruiter in reviewing resumes, tracking active candidates and scheduling/coordinating interviews with decision makers
Maintaining positive relationships with candidates throughout the interview process
Ability to write job descriptions, job briefs and job postings to attract and focus the applicant pool appropriately
Generating appropriate offer paperwork and negotiating offers on behalf of hiring manager as needed.
Tracking, reporting and analyzing strategic recruiting effectiveness and accomplishments of meeting hiring manager recruiting needs.

Interpersonal Contacts
This position interacts with all department heads, producers and HR on staffing needs of the Studio. Extensive contact with internal and external candidates. Communication is a major focus of this position. The ability to communicate accurately, tactfully and with a sense of competency and helpfulness is required.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent
Experienced recruiter. IT/CG experience a plus.
Ability to meet recruiting goals and deadlines.
Superior communication skills with candidates, internal clients (hiring managers), support staff and external clients
Effective time management and organizational skills a must
Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
Excellent analytical/research skills.
Trained in interviewing techniques, preferably behavioral Interviewing.
Excellent negotiating skills required
Expert skills in web searches.
Comfortable using MS Office.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages the recruiting process and some support staff as needed to meet goals and accomplish tasks but it is not the direct supervisor of any positions at this time.

Job Conditions
This position works under normal office conditions.
