Academy of Media Arts, Cologne is looking for Experimental Animation
Starting Date: 16.10.2006 , duration - 3 (+3) years
Job details: Academy of Media Arts, Cologne is pleased to announce an open teaching staff position in the field of experimental animation. The successful candidate will hold a University level degree (BA or MA) in Fine Arts/Animation or Design or in any other directly related field, and must have a working knowledge of animation.
The candidate should demonstrate a notable creativity and provide an evidence of a comprehensive portfolio. The prospective responsibilities will center around experimental animation with an eventual possibility of developing own field of interest. Instruction in animation foundations course, participation in curriculum development, academic advising, and committee work within the department and across the school are also components of the position. Other assignments will be determined by the candidate\'s strengths and the department\'s needs.
Requirements: We also expect experience in computer assisted animation programs and digital post production. The candidate should enjoy creative experiments and follow closely developments in the arts and media.
