PDI/DreamWorks Animation is looking for Technology Production Manager
Starting Date: ASAP
Job details: PDI/DreamWorks Animation seeks a Technology Production Manager (TPM)
Role & Responsibilities:
The TPM will maintain an overall production view of the priority of technology issues and how they relate to production. Responsibilities include:
* Provide visibility to technology management about impact of technology issues and project deliverables to production.
* Lead and manage weekly technology updates meetings and documentation for each production.
* Monthly tracking of production staffing against planned budget with specific regards to digital resources such as desktop deployments and licenses.
* Track key issues affecting the technology group:
*Changing production goals
*Changing production requirements
* Managing production implementation of large-scale technology projects
* Communicating status of technology studio initiatives to production
* Manage and communicate with both production and technology regarding critical AT projects
* Work with lead TDs and production mgt. to prioritize technology issues across multiple production departments.
* Work with technology management and production mgt. to prioritize technology issues across multiple productions and multiple sites.
* Respond to support Qs requiring management approval and intervention or assistance.
* Assist, back up and mentor technology coordinator(s).
* Manage preventative maintenance and software release production approvals.
* Facilitate cross-site communication for both production and technology issues.
* Legal liaison for technology requests, particularly evaluations and non-disclosure agreements.
* Manage special technology requests or issues.

Requirements: Looking for very strong management candidates. PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. An ideal candidate would have several years of management experience in feature animation and cg animation production, preferably in digital or technical departments.
*Excellent communication, project management, and conflict resolution skills.
*Significant amount of written communication and executive presentations and summaries experience in a fast-paced/quick response environment.
