Studio B Productions is looking for Corporate Controller
Starting Date: Full time , duration - Permanent

Job details: Studio B Productions, an award-winning animation studio based in Vancouver BC, has an exciting opportunity for a someone to join our team in the newly created position of Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities:
Consolidated Financial Statement preparation
Cash management
Foreign exchange risk management
Compliance reporting to financial institutions
Tax optimization for the group of companies
Implement and refine accounting controls, policies and procedures
Assist accounting staff in issues related to Accounting (including; payroll, accounts payable, cost reporting, revenue management, cash flow management, financial statement preparation and year end filings)
Responsible for audit preparation and management
Monitor and report on corporate budget variances
Attend to other accounting & finance matters that may arise from time to time.
Requirements: The successful applicant must have CA Designation with a minimum 2 to 3 years relevant work experience, ideally related to the Film/Television business
Advanced skill level with Excel and Quick Books Pro
Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment with the ability to establish and meet work priorities
People management with strong leadership skills are essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
