Z-Axis / Activision is looking for Character Rigger
duration - Full Time
Job details: Character Rigger Z-Axis Games is looking for a talented Character Rigger.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience in a technical art role having demonstrated the ability to research and adapt new techniques and technologies in order to further real-time 3D graphics.
This candidate will also have the following traits:
Must have worked on at least two console games that have shipped.
Be able to create and maintain animator-friendly rigs.
Strong knowledge of major 3D packages (Maya, Max) and related rigging systems.
Must demonstrate initiative and strong problem-solving skills in relation to rigging and animation techniques.
Mel scripting knowledge a plus.
Deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology along with character animation basics (creatures and/or humanoids).
At least generally experienced with relative skin deformations and a muscle system.
Work with other team members to ensure quality level of characters and animations.
