Job details: Test Lead - THQ Location: Agoura Hills, California 91301-0000 USA
Responsibilities:
Efficient supervision and direction of the final test team.
Accurate Management of project database(s). This includes the following:
I) Oversee the bug input process to ensure that all documented issues are accurate and well written.
II) Respond to posts made by concerned parties in a timely, professional manner.
III)Conduct the regression process to confirm that an accurate update of the bug database is completed in a timely manner.
Prompt creation and implementation of a comprehensive test plan:
I) Put forth practical test strategies that are utilized throughout the project test cycle.
II) Ensure the test plan expands as needed as design and test plan changes in order to remain consistent with the status of the title.
Providing accurate written and/or verbal status and interim reports to Final Test Supervisor and QA Management on a weekly basis.
Requisitioning equipment, both hardware and software, according to the needs of the test effort to ensure complete testing with all required variables.
Complete thorough and accurate testing of the title(s) assigned against the approved QAV Checklist. This includes notifying all parties concerned of QAV approval or failure in a timely, professional manner.
Qualifications/Education:
QA Project Management experience or equivalent.
Some Quality Assurance experience required.
Must be able to work independently and manage their time and the time of their team to maximize the amount of test coverage on each title.
Must be knowledgeable on current THQ and QA policies and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
