Naughty Dog, Inc. is looking for Character Rigger/TD
Starting Date: ASAP
Job details: Naughty Dog, Inc. is looking for a fulltime character rigger/TD with an intermediate professional history with Maya.
Requirements: Ideally this individual should possess the following skills:
Intermediate MEL knowledge that preferably includes some UI based scripts.
Solid understanding of rigging concepts such as constraints, IK handles, set-driven-keys, utility nodesetc
Experience with painting weights and setting up realistic looking character deformation.
Basic understanding of technical 3D principles such as vectors, transformations, spaces & constraints.
Experience with animation and deformation pipelines.
Patient & open to edits & requests.
Be able to take direction and run with it.
The position also requires a basic understanding of human anatomy, specifically facial and anatomical muscle and bone structures. Candidates might be asked to rig a sample character for evaluation purposes. Reels and portfolios must include examples of professional work, and an exact breakdown of your specific contribution to the material submitted.
