Midway Amusement Games, LLC is looking for Lighting TD
Starting Date: Full-Time , duration - Permanent
Job details: Midway, Chicago, is looking for a Lighting Technical Director to:
Create lit environments and elements, including placing key lights, creating shadows, etc. for both rendered and real-time imagery.
Create & adjust lighting set-ups as dictated by the game team\'s level lights and developing new ones as needed.
Set-up compositions from existing elements, add post-production processing, and render final sequences.
Perform modeling, animation, and texturing tasks to support effects shots as needed.
Requirements: A demonstration portfolio showing a strong sense of composition, light, shadow and color is required- must be able to exhibit a variety of lighting conditions of primary and secondary characters. This will be for both render and real-time work, so the ability to convey this information within hardware restrictions is a necessity.
We're looking for your ability to emphasize the subject's form & detail, with understanding of technical limits. Proficiency with Maya preferred and experience with real-time rendering is desirable.
