Job details: PDI/DreamWorks Animation in Redwood City, CA seeks a creative and talented Paint Fix Artist to join our team. This is an entry level full time art position.

NOTE: This is a temporary gig for 2 months.

Key Responsibilities:
Digitally alter and fix frames with paint and compositing tools using After Effects and Photoshop.
Review each film frame and check for binding issues and other technical problems.

Requirements: Qualifications:
Must have a great working knowledge of After Effects 6.5 and Photoshop CS.
A minimum of one year work experience in a production environment.
Great visualization and artistic skills with an eye for detail and realism.
Efficient and speedy work practices for quick turn-around time under deadline pressure.
Please be highly motivated and passionate about your work and have a positive attitude.

Bonus:
Knowledge of 3D Animation Pipeline.
BFA or similar art background / equivalent experience.
Traditional art skills- demonstrated eye for light, shadow, composition, and color.
UNIX or Linux operating system experience.
Film production experience.
