Pronto Games is looking for QA Lead

Job details: QA Lead The Lead QA Tester is responsible for overseeing a product or line of products. This position reports directly to the QA director.

Responsibilities
Set up test plan for a product
Coordinate QA databases with QA Director
Identify software defects, run test checklists, verify fixes
Primary contact with clients QA department
Organize & keep test team on schedule
Work with Project Managers to reschedule test team as necessary
Prepare submissions by reviewing docs and assembling files to submit to client
Accept phone submissions to test
Manage resources in QA Directors absence
Enter bugs into Bug Tracking System
Create limited test cases and test suites
Monitor project status
Schedule testing tasks based on milestones set by project leads
Work with Art, Design & Engineering leads to ensure projects are well planned & implemented
Manage a team of testers
Contribute to QA docs

Required
Knowledge of bug tracking database
Strong software troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Demonstrable problem solving abilities
Ability to remain focused until project completion
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze software defects
Must be able to verify legal eligibility to work in the USA

Desired
Experience and understanding of varied cell phone carriers or PC game testing
Knowledge of Test Track
Software troubleshooting

Experience
Tester on at least 4-6 released game products
Minimum 1 year software test experience
