Visual Concepts - 2K Sports is looking for Project Manager, MLB 2K
duration - Full Time
Job details: Project Manager, MLB 2K As Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of a game being developed by an external studio. You will be responsible for multiple platforms including next-generation game consoles. Exceptional communication and management skills as well as a drive for high levels of quality are a must in this leadership role.
Primary responsibilities:
-Provide direction and motivation to ensure overall objectives, project goals, milestones and deliverables are achieved by the development team
-Represent the development team and act as the primary liaison for Marketing, PR, QA, and other departments, assuring that requirements and expectations are met
-Provide regular updates and reports to management on development progress and related issues
-Work with licensor and other partners to ensure that licensing standards are achieved
-Collaborate with various console first party manufactures to ensure that your title complies with TCRs, TRCs, and other standards and requirements
-Other duties as assigned
Required background and qualifications:
-At least 2 to 3 years experience in a producer role on an AAA title
-Exceptional oral and written communication skills
-Strong management skills with proven ability to focus on priorities, mitigate risks, solve problems, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
-Demonstrated and proven ability to work effectively as a leader who can produce results
-High-level communication skills, including public speaking, and the ability to communicate effectively with the press
-Ability to communicate effectively with personnel of all disciplines in programming, art, sound, design, production, QA, marketing and PR
