Job details: Game Director Role / requirements:
The ideal candidate will be dynamic with a flair for leading and motivating staff whilst maintaining a handle on project management, and a desire to take yourself and Climax forwards with the production of quality, AAA next generation titles.
Be able to balance the impact of deadlines and resources against quality requirements of a title; visually and verbally understand and communicate complex mechanical and concepts.
We would like to see a history of delivering projects on schedule and work that is of the highest quality standards for visuals, audio, and functionality.
The ability to communicate effectively with all disciplines in a development team and have a thorough understanding of the game development cycle.
Efficiently organize and execute meetings and be able to evaluate development risks and provide contingency plans.
You will have excellent presentation skills and must be able to communicate complex, leading edge and creative concepts in a clear and concise manner to a variety of different audiences.
You will have had experience of supervising and directing large franchises. You will have worked through the financial side of running a project and been in charge of large scale productions.
You will have an understanding of the way a publisher manages and structures project development, as well as a handle on the requirements of publisher marketing and PR.
Experience of external in addition to internal development is welcomed.
