Job details: SFX Artist
Main Duties / responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of 3D and 2D effects work including, designing and conceptualising the effects, animating geometry and camera work.
Accurately render and animate realistic and fantasy elements in line with the overall game concept and physical principles.
Able to demonstrate a high level of creativity and understanding of modelling, texturing, lighting and particles.
Possess a keen eye and ability to direct camera work.
Task driven with excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize your own work schedule.
Creativity in generating new visual styles, quality and directions.
Demonstrate a good working knowledge of all current platforms, technical art restrictions and limitations.
Skills / technical ability:
2 years plus experience or the ability to demonstrate outstanding visual effects.
Real time FX essential.
Maya experience preferable.
Proven 2D Photoshop skills essential.
Understanding of 3D modelling and animation.
Experience in after-effects beneficial.
