Job details: Mobile QA Manager The QA Manager is solely responsible for managing the queue of applications that need to be tested. This person must develop and utilize solid practices to ensure that all applications are thoroughly tested to high standards and that all results are communicated in a timely manner. As a Manager, this person is also responsible for staffing and managing their subordinate positions including Testers, Lead Testers, etc.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all employees in the QA department.
Responsible for all applications from submission until pass/fail QA.
Responsible for staffing the department as needed.
Key point of contact between QA and the rest of the company, including sending status reports to managers.
Understand and manage submissions to carrier partners and other distribution channels.
Fill in on critical tasks when necessary for subordinates out due to vacation or illness.
Requirements
3+ years Game QA Experience.
1+ years department management experience.
1+ years mobile experience (Cell Phone, PDA, etc.).
Familiarity with J2ME/BREW.
Attention to detail.
Ability to self-motivate and self-manage.
Forward-thinking.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
