MPC is looking for Pre-Vis Artist
Starting Date: ASAP , duration - 3 Months
Job details: MPC is one of the world's leading post production facilities. We create high-end visual effects and computer animation for the advertising, music, television and feature film industries.
Due to continuing growth and the start of some very exciting projects we are currently looking for a Previsualization Artist to join our energetic team immediately.
To be successful in this role it is imperative that applicants must be able to demonstrate strong artistic skills related to all aspects of 3D Art, Animation and Rendering. You must be able to demonstrate strong animation skills and have a have a solid understanding of all parts of a standard cg production pipeline: modeling, keyframe animation, procedural animation, particle systems, lighting, shaders, rendering, and compositing.
The nature of the role means that you will be in communication with our highly respected client on a daily basis so experience of working with clients to tight deadlines is essential as is the ability to take direction and artistic critique, as well as technical support. You must also have experience of and demonstrate the ability to work to Design and Art briefs and explore a plethora of visual possibilities and be able to create complex 3D Previs movies which should include an understanding of cinematic camera techniques and lighting.
Within this role you will be working as part of a team who are able to complete high quality work without constant technical support or constant direction. Therefore the ability to remains focused, motivated and effective on all tasks through to completion is paramount.
