Job details: Lead Special Effects Artist, Bond Description:
Treyarch is looking for an experienced Lead Special Effects Artist. Responsible for creating special effects for our next-generation James Bond title. Ideal candidate will have experience in scripting and effects shaders.
You will be responsible for:
Managing a small group of effects artists, including but not limited to; scheduling, critiquing, mentoring.
Creating particles, geometry and textured effects to achieve the following types of effects: smoke, flashes, fire, steam, rain, and flowing water.
Working closely with effects scripters and designers to implement effects.
Qualifications:
Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk 3DS Max skills are essential, however particle effects are created with our own proprietary tool.
Expertise in 3D graphics, particle systems, and shaders.
Ability to adapt quickly to proprietary tools.
While candidates with film effects backgrounds will be considered, individuals with shipped game titles on their rmill be preferred.
