Job details: DISNEY ONLINE: Customer Service Manager (online gaming) Walt Disney Internet Groups Customer Management and Analysis team is looking for a Customer Service Manager. The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for supporting the customer service needs of the subscriber base for our online premium products. This position will set policies and procedures as they relate to the handling of subscriber email and service requests, maintain consistent and thorough communication with internal partners and vendor, ensure the maximization of the ROI for customer service through innovative retention and customer service strategies, train support professionals on product releases, and conduct call calibration sessions to ensure the highest levels of service are maintained. The Customer Service Manager will also be responsible for analyzing customer usage and customer satisfaction levels, and effectiveness of various loyalty programs and assisting in the creation of additional retention efforts. In addition, this position will also handle communication on the most difficult and/or sensitive customer communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Communication and interpersonal skills (especially sensitivity and tact) and technical knowledge necessary to communicate with both customers and either an in-house or external customer/technical service team. Must be able to act as a first filter for developers helping to categorize and prioritize customer technical issues. Must have analytic skills, marketing acumen and personal skills capable of identifying retention issue and opportunities, combined with the leadership ability to turn those findings into actions. Must have leadership skills that will enable him/her to communicate with, train, motivate and control a customer service team remotely.

Excellent organizational, communicate and interpersonal skills

Previous experience with customer service tools and customer service or help desk experience with online products

Experience managing internal & external relationships

Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint

Experience in general marketing of consumer goods

General business skills necessary to maximize ROI

Self motivated individual capable of managing work with little direct supervision

Dynamic leadership ability capable of motivating offsite staff

Able to work closely with all members of the production team to meet deadlines

Able to prioritize tasks

Able to work well under pressure and deadlines

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

Understanding of subscription product retention strategies and tactics
Experience supporting online products in the entertainment, media, or ecommerce industries
