Concrete Games is looking for Artist (Environments)
duration - Full Time
Job details: Artist (Environments) As an Artist assigned to environments, you will be tasked with creating a variety of 3D objects for the game world - buildings, terrain, interiors, weapons, trees, and world models. You will be working with the other artists on all aspects of the 3D environment content from modeling & texturing to exporting the asset into the game. Artists must work well with the Sr. Artists and designers and meet functional and aesthetic goals. The ability to work well under pressure with direction from the Senior or Lead Artist and meeting deadlines is a must.
Preferred Skills:
3+ years of experience in the games industry, with titles shipped
Exceptional skills in the areas of modeling, mapping, and texturing low polygon models for a real-time production
Ability to work within time constraints set by the Lead Artist
Experience working with multi-pass shader effects (diffuse maps, specular maps, bump maps, normal maps, etc.)
Must have good people skills and have the ability to excel in a creative and positive manner with the rest of the team
Solid knowledge of 3D software, preferably Maya
Solid knowledge of 2D software such as Photoshop or Painter
Must be able to demonstrate solid traditional art skills
Arts degree
