Vigil Games is looking for Texture Artist
duration - Full Time
Job details: Texture Artist We are looking for an experienced texture artist to help texture awe inspiring characters and game worlds. Candidate should have a strong sense of design and an amazing attention to detail. The Texture Artist works closely with other members of the art team to realize the visual style of the game and helps insure that the vision and integrity of the character and environment concepts are fully realized in the final asset.
Responsibilities:
Texturing of high quality 3D character models and environments.
Modeling and texturing of additional props for characters and environments.
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent texturing and 3D modeling skills, including a strong understanding of efficient techniques for game production.
At least two years of applicable industry experience.
Fluent knowledge of at least one major 2D package (Photoshop, Painter, etc.).
Willingness to accept direction and work well under pressure in order to meet production deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong interest in games, preferably with specific industry experience shipping titles for Playstation 2, PC, Xbox, etc.
Knowledge of next-gen art pipelines and art production experience preferred.
Work samples required.
