Secret Level is looking for Gameplay Programer
duration - Full Time
Job details: Gameplay Programer Secret Level seeks a Gameplay Programmer who will be responsible for the implementation and refinement of gameplay feature sets for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in C++ and Lua for our Golden Axe title.
Responsibilities
Implement gameplay-related functionality including controls, AI, camera movement,
game rules, etc in C++ and Lua
Implement game level effects such as weapon behavior, motion blur, vision modes and other graphics effects
Work closely with designers and engineers to create Gameplay features in C++ and Lua on PS3 and Xbox 360
Work with the Engineering lead to Implement gameplay systems and refine as needed
Test and refine gameplay features during the development cycle of the project
Essential Skills and Experience
Must have made a significant contribution to a shipped console game title
Proven experience and proficiency in C++
Demonstrated ability in writing clear, maintainable, portable code
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Solid background in mathematics
Experienced background in graphics
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering preferred
Preferred Skills and Experience
Some Knowledge of Lua Programming
Understanding of Visual Studio a plus
Experience or working knowledge of SN Systems a plus
Experience with network game play coding would be a big plus
