This position is primarily responsible for further developing existing revenue streams for both Sony Pictures Online Casual Games and Sony Pictures Mobile. This position
will negotiate, sell, and manage products and services for the casual games business through external partners across multiple distribution channels that include web portals, ISP's, OEM's, Retail, and other channels. This position will also develop and manage Sony's casual online gaming site, driving site revenue across multiple business lines. The position reports to the Director, Business Development Game Studio.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive revenue for Sony Pictures Online Casual Games and Sony Pictures Mobile through various tasks including:
Identifying new carriers, aggregators and portals that should be approached, and developing deals with approved third parties
Establishing and maintaining relationships with mobile and online game aggregators to facilitate and promote SPD products and services.
Help manage Sony's casual online gaming site by seeking out new content and programming the online offering
Exploring new partnerships and analyzing the possibilities they offer
Negotiating and driving contracts to closure, working closely with the Legal, Finance, and Production teams.
Responsible for understanding the key business drivers and developing
core business metrics for market trend analysis and detailed forecasting of Sony's Online Casual Games and Mobile Games businesses.
Focusing on developing online solutions that drive awareness and
promote value for SPD's products and brands.
Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum three to five years experience in sales / marketing /
business development with casual online games or mobile games experience
strongly preferred.
Experience in online advertising, downloadable software, and online
subscriptions preferred
Experience with advertising agencies or consumer marketing a plus.
Requires strong relationship management skills and experience in
working within all levels of an external organization to drive
business initiatives
Proven communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
identify creative ways to achieve complicated goal sets
Must be able to collaborate effectively across multiple internal groups.
Must be a self-starter who can effectively prioritize and drive
business deals to closure.
Must be a creative thinker with a passion for digital entertainment products.
Must have strong problem solving / analytical skills and the ability
to manage multiple products through all aspects of a product
lifecycle
Requires close collaboration with functional departments (product
development, web development, sales, PR, finance, legal, etc.) to
ensure world-class management of our products and marketing
initiatives.


EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
