Post subject: XSI 5 : duplicating and rigging hair from curves
Hi everybody,
Please help me!
I have hair for my model created using guide curves but as they are eybrows and eyelashes I have duplicated them and scaled them in -x. The original hairs can be rigged and rotated along with the head without any problem at all, but those that have been -scaled rotate in the opposite direction to the head bone. I assumed this was a problem with the scale and/or centre but when i try and freeze transforms or set a neutral pose they disappear/translate to a random position.
Surely there is a way of freezing, resetting the centre and then rigging whilst keeping them as i want them, and not have them auto rescale with the freeze function. I've spent loads of time trying to sort this out although it probably would have been a lot quicker if I had just drawn new curves.
Thanks in advance for your help,
