xsi5 : Can't Delete Chains

Hello. I'm pretty new to XSI.

I tried copying a chain of bones and ended up with a small chain. It has only Root and Bone objects in hierarchy, but I somehow lost the eff (there is no eff in this chain). I try to branch select this chain and hit "delete" on my keyboard, but only get this:

"SelectObj "root5", "BRANCH", True
'ERROR : 21000-EDIT-DeleteObj - Unspecified failure
DeleteObj "B:root5"

Any idea how can I delete this chain?
