Responsibilities Include:
Manage the day-to-day operation of the show including crew, crew scheduling, milestones, resources, deadlines and budgeting to ensure that the production goals are met within budget and timelines.
Duties Include:
- Assist Producer in the development of production budget and master production schedule.
- Design and setup departmental schedules and reporting systems, based upon the master production schedule as discussed and agreed upon with the producer(s).
- Effectively delegate production schedules and reporting systems to Production Coordinators to manage, oversee and run departments, supervising their progress on a daily basis.
- Identify cost variances and monitor costs incurred from approved production budget; recommend corrective action as necessary.
Qualifications Include:
- 3+ years industry experience on animated productions working as a Production Coordinator or equivilant experience as an Production Manager working in animation.
- Experience in 3D animation production, with live action industry experience a great asset.
- A thorough knowledge of animation process and good knowledge of the creative side of animation producing.
- Proficient in MS office suites including Excel and Word.
