Job details: Producer-TV Games DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Approving/commenting on game designs.
Ensuring the games meet their target demographic.
Approving/commenting on 1st playable/prototype build
Commenting on new builds and making sure the games are going in the right direction in terms of quality.
Making sure the developer is on schedule. Adjusting dates and informing the correct parties if the schedule changes.
Approving Alpha The game must be playable from start to finish. Some of the music and art can be placeholder. Test Mode/ Saving, Sleep Mode, etc must be fully implemented.
Approving Beta All content must be in the game (art, music, sounds effects). under 20 bugs, with no crash bugs present. All text, art, animations, sounds, music, and the manual should be delivered for approval from the licensor.
Making sure the game has been reviewed and approved by management through out the production process.
Overseeing the Test Leads
Approving Final All bugs have be fixed or closed. The developer has delivered the final code in both the .S37 format and either a .bin, .mem or .tsk. The developer has delivered the confirmation sheet and project feature list spreadsheet.
Playing and adjusting games on a weekly basis. Providing Feedback to the developers on progress.
Assisting in Licensing approvals providing proper information to the licensing coordinator in an effort to make sure the licensor is happy with their project. Getting assets from developer for submission including: Game Design, Game and MiniGame Titles, Music/ SFX files, Art-Sprites and Backgrounds, Legals, In-game text, Builds.
Arrange any needed recordings/ sound effects and/or assets with licensing coordinator.
Alerting the Project Coordinator when the project is ready to be submitted to the ESRB.
Alerting the project coordinator when the projects names are ready for clearance.
Saving all documentation on the T drive and in the approval binders.
Attending the weekly status meeting prepared and/or writing weekly summary
Submitting Final Code to Hong Kong for ROM masking and ensuring delivery.
Archive making sure the code archive is delivered and ensuring that the QA manager has burned the archive to a CD.
Travel to developers to kick off designs and follow up on late projects.
Participate in licensing kick off calls
Review Packaging and Instructions match the game.
REQUIREMENTS
Maintaining a positive demeanor on a day to day basis.
Be a positive example to the Quality Assurance Department and a team player.
