Aardman is a world leader in character led 3D animated film production servicing a number of markets globally, TV series, commercials and feature films. With its portfolio of characters it drives a strong licensing division and is constantly developing new characters and ideas.
Our business is fast moving and dynamic, so your challenge will be to manage the ongoing development of the Commercials CGI department. You'll provide strong leadership, inspiration and coaching for the team as well as progressing the creative and technical capability of the department. You'll also face strategic challenges such as succession management, business planning and budgeting.
To be considered for this unique opportunity, you'll need to be an industry expert with a very high level of all-round CGI knowledge - including current and future CGI hardware and software technologies and trends, together with expert knowledge of digital post production techniques. You'll be a confident and engaging leader with strong influencing and communication skills, with a proven ability to guide, inspire and develop a large creative team.
In addition, you'll be a positive and pro-active problem solver and will be amazingly calm and effective when working to tight deadlines.
