Purpose of the Position
The Senior Internet Media Architect is responsible for the architecture and implementation of the vMix media serving platform. Duties include collaboration with DBA to design and encode media serving infrastructure and making recommendations regarding new web technology.
Qualifications
1. BS or BA, or equivalent of work experience
2. Five plus years experience with internet media required.
3. Significant experience with: Linux, MySQL, PHP or Perl, and Apache Web Servers
4. Encoding, and C experience preferred.
5. Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
7. Ability to interface professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel, both within and outside the company in fast paced, dynamic environment.
8. Able to follow-through, assume responsibility and use good judgment.
