Job details: Associate Producer - for a high profile XBOX 360 game - KIRKLAND, WA Amaze Entertainment is seeking an organized, creative individual to assist in production of a high profile XBOX 360 game. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who has worked as an Associate or Assistant Producer on multiple shipped titles. A history of design experience and/or team leadership skills is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Producer, the primary vision-holder for the product.
Own and Manage the vision of a specific area or module of a product in development
o Help set the scope and priority of features in that area
o Manage integration of content for that area
o Collaborate with the areas designers on a daily basis
o Work directly with programmers, artists and other team members to identify and help resolve problems
o Contribute to game design docs and other documentation; ensure that staff are working from clear, updated specs at all times
o Work with QA leads to develop effective testing processes for that area
o Work with Development Manager(s) to gauge progress against schedule and milestone expectations
o Help ensure communication between team members
o Attend meetings, document decisions and communicate them to team as required; Chair meetings and discussions relevant to your area
Provide leadership on videogame market trends, patterns and customer requirements. Be able to use this knowledge to help develop new and innovative products for the videogame medium.
Directly responsible for adhering to and administering all company policies and procedures
Perform any other duties assigned by manager with accountability and responsibility as defined prior to the commencement of these duties.
Work with manager on career path toward Producer role
