Rainbow Studios is looking for Project Manager
duration - Full Time
Job details: Project Manager Position Summary: Creates and manages the schedule for all assigned game SKUs
from start to finish. This position will also be responsible for project risk
management and mitigation.
Essential Job Functions:
Is responsible for on-time delivery of games
Delivers the game with the agreed upon quality
Delivers the game on or under budgeted target
Is responsible for project risk management and mitigation
Creates, maintains, and tracks the project schedule
Generates, maintains, and tracks project milestone deliverables
Establishes the process by which the game will be developed
Delegates and prioritizes tasks in conjunction with leads
Monitors the project on a day-to-day basis
Identifies and resolves production problems and issues
Ensures and enforces realistic game scope for the delivery date
Reports effectively to senior management
Runs and/or actively participates in all team meetings to ensure correct data
management and communication
Responsible for physical milestone delivery of milestones builds
Remains stationary for long periods of time while working in front of a
computer
Manipulates a keyboard, mouse, and/or other input device
Performs other similar or related duties as necessary
Experience/Skills:
3-6 years of industry experience
Shipped at least one title in a project manager role
Strong process and organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tool
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with large groups and one-on-one
Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change
Experience with multi-platform video game production preferred
Programming skills preferred
Education/Certification/Licensing: Bachelors (BA) degree from accredited
four-year college or university or equivalent experience
Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States
