Job details: E-Commerce Games Licensing Manager We are currently seeking an experienced E-Commerce Games Licensing Manager for Atom Entertainments Casual Games Distribution business.
Responsibilities:
Scout for new games, developers and publishers.
Pursue new relationships with developers and publishers of casual games for distribution on Atom Entertainments sites.
Negotiate license and distribution agreements for new game titles.
Keep on top of all upcoming game releases in the casual games space to secure timely release on Atom Entertainments sites.
Maintain existing relationships and frequent communication with developers with existing license and distribution agreements.
Coordinate with Site Production and Marketing teams on game release schedules.
Manage game releases: from acquisition to launch - through ongoing promotion.
Understand market constraints and opportunities and offer insight into how Shockwave.com may improve its competitive position.
Coordinate testing for quality assurance.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have proven abilities in many of the following areas:
A passion for top-quality game content.
2-4 years game industry experience, PC casual game industry experience preferred.
Strong negotiating and sales skills, with contract and licensing experience required.
Strong initiative, creativity, attention to detail and organizational skills required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Travel required: to developer/publisher locations and trade events.
Cross-cultural communication skills a plus.
Competence with a variety of software packages, such as the standard office applications, HTML, etc.,
Self starter. Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings.
Strongly driven by the opportunity to deliver quality entertainment software into the hands of millions of eager consumers.
4 year college degree or equivalent required

Reports to: VP, Games
Position level: Manager
This position will be based in Atom Entertainments downtown San Francisco offices, near the Montgomery BART station.
