Kiwi Animation is looking for Assistant Director
duration - 6-12 Months

Job details: Grenadine Animation, sister company of Vox Populi (producing the Gemeaux Award winning TV show "Et Dieu crea Laflaque" http://www.laflaque.com/ ) is a brand new animation company in Montreal and will produce 20 X 28 min TV series in the up and coming months.

We're looking for a Assistant Director who understands photo-cut-out 2-D production and is a team player.

Responsibilities:
- Attend production meeting when required.
- Make sure that the directors needs are fulfilled.
- Distribute directors' notes and comments and make sure that these

Duties:
- Format scripts for voice recording
- Confirm sound studio and actors bookings.
- Coordinate recordings sessions
- Make sure that optimum recordings conditions are met.
- Distribute scripts and recording scripts to who is on the distribution list.
- Set-up group actors for recording.
- Make sure that all the dialog lines were recorded.
- Note all recording modifications while recording.
- Conform the script to the "new" recorded script
- Produce a "As recorded script" and distribute it to the list.
- Notify the storyboardists and animatic editor of any directorial changes and make sure the changes are done accordingly.
- Make sure that the directors' notes are passed down to the Art Director and the Animation Director.
- And any other related duties.

40 hour weekly

Requirements:
Master FRENCH language (scripts and communications are in FRENCH)
Knowledge of 2-D production
Knowledge of MsOffice a must
Knowledge of voice recordings,
Knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Harmony, Toon Boom's Storyboard and/or flach an asset
Must be willing to relocate in Montreal.
MUST be Canadian
