3ds Max: Final Renderer

Well I have no idea what is wrong with it. It all worked fine for me till a bit ago, but I don't know what happened. I have final renderer v1.3. When I go to adjust the GI i get an error and it crashes max. I've re-installed max several times as well as final renderer. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or not. Should I consider using Brazil instead of FR?
