Job details: We have an immediate opening for an experienced Resource Manager to work out of our Marietta offices.

Your primary responsibilties will to staff projects based on an understanding of what resources (people) are needed to successfully deliver interactive projects. You will work closely with Discipline Leads in Client Services, Creative, User Experience, Technology and Project Management to help forecast project resource needs, and to allocate those resources to the appropriate projects.

Essential Functions:

Work with Discipline Leads and Project Managers to staff projects with resources promptly and accurately.
Understand the interests and capabilities/skill sets of each resource and factor into staffing decisions.
Communicating with management staffing recommendations.
Facilitate weekly staffing meetings with Discipline Leads and Project Managers to communicate staffing progress.
Proactively identify, address and offer solutions regarding staffing gaps with management.
Prepare reports showing utilization trends and forecasts for review by the management team.
Facilitate communication between resources and managers to ensure that resources are staffed to projects efficiently.
Work with Discipline Leads to create contingency plans for under-utilized resources.
Maintain and provide information about current projects and potential future projects.
Maintain and provide availability information for all resources.
Solicit feedback on the staffing process and adjust as necessary.
Assist with recruiting as necessary.

Experience:

Two years in the field or in a related area.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Competencies:

Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Understanding of interactive project life-cycle and necessary staffing.
Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Project, Power Point.
Strong writing ability and a solid understanding of standard Web editorial practices.
Ability to creatively fulfill rapidly changing project needs.
Understanding of Website development terminology.
Understanding of basic project management principles.
Excellent verbal communication, mediation and negotiation skills.
Possess team attitude and ability to build collaborative relationships based on confidentiality and trust
Be approachable and flexible.
Organized, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proven process improvement, process design and problem-solving abilities.
