Job details: Massachusetts College of Art is currently accepting applications for the position of:
VISITING ARTIST - Fine Arts 2D (Painting)
Full-Time two year appointment beginning September 2007. Teach painting major section and 2D studio electives. Private studio within painting department is provided. College level teaching experience beyond TA required. Exhibition record desirable. MFA preferred. Artists working in new media technology are welcome to apply. Rank and salary commensurate with teaching experience and exhibition record.

Send letter of interest, resume, and a maximum of 15 images of own work. Submit names of three individuals who can provide reference; include addresses, (e-mail addresses) and telephone numbers.
We accept CDs labeled with applicant?s name in JPEG format, no image larger than 3MB. All files must begin with applicants initials (eg. Jane Smith is jsImageOne.jpg), and be in a folder with applicant?s name as the folder name. Submit CD accompanied by a corresponding hard copy list indicating title, date, size and medium. Additional materials may be requested at a later stage. No video clips and audio files will be viewed. No electronic applications will be accepted.
All applications require a SASE, (labeled return shipping envelope with correct postage affixed).
The priority application deadline is January 12, 2007. We will conduct some preliminary interviews at CAA. Complete applications must be received by this date by those who wish to be considered for a CAA interview. Position is open until filled
