DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide pedagogical and instructional design services for faculty who require assistance in developing online, blended learning, and web-enhanced courses as well as with using technology in the classroom. Assist in the content development of online learning projects, selection of appropriate learning technologies, and educational technology workshops.
QUALIFICATIONS: A college or university degree in instructional design, instructional technology, human-computer interaction or a related field AND one (1) five (5) years' experience, depending on the position.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: A graduate degree in instructional design, instructional technology, human-computer interactions, a related field or equivalent experience. Experience in all phases of the instructional design process; experience assisting college level faculty in the development of online, blended learning, and/or web-enhanced courses; experience developing instructional websites; proficiency in a learning management system, such as Blackboard; proficiency with at least TWO of the following categories: web design and development, multimedia production (e.g., Flash, Breeze, Director), internet-related academic technologies (e.g. podcasting, streaming media), digital content accessibility (e.g. Section 508 compliance, W3C accessibility guidelines), or image editing software (e.g. Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator).
