Job details: We're looking for an Associate Technical Producer for the CNB group of CNET which includes ZDNet, BNET, and TechRepublic. The ideal candidate will have the ability to implement great looking applications and rich web GUIs. The Associate Technical Producer will be responsible for producing standards-compliant (X)HTML, CSS, DHTML, and JavaScript presentation code. This person should be able to work within the confines of a content management system as well as be able to develop code by hand. The role requires final production-ready code that will either be handed off to site engineers or implemented directly into the site code base. The Associate Technical Producer will also be responsible for optimizing assets from design comps for inclusion on the site.

Qualifications:
Must Have
* Strong HTML coding skills and solid knowledge of CSS
* Proficiency with creating tableless layouts
* Familiar with Web Standards; the DOM, cross-browser & cross-platform (X)HTML, DHTML
* Some experience creating and optimizing graphics for the web using Photoshop & ImageReady
* Ability to multitask and manage your own work queue
* Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills

A Plus
* Knowledge of PHP
* Familiarity with AJAX
* Basic knowledge of CVS, basic UNIX commands, and Flash/ActionScript
* Experience with website design & presentation
