Hi All,
I get a head/chest bulging thing happening every once in a while when using
physique. I'm not sure if it is the same problem but the things you
suggested have not worked. What is really confusing is that the head verts
are all green (rigid) so they should not be taking any deformation of the
spline links, but they are 'pulsating'. I have also had the problem on the
arms and the chest(which are red / deformable).
It doesnt seem to have anything to do with bulge angles either as when
changing the 'skin update to not use bulges, or even to just do rigid the
pulsating still happens.
Regarding the tention=50 thing, all the keys had t=25. Changing it to 50
actually helped, or changing the continuity to 0 actually helped but it
still doesnt explain it nor is it a prefereable solution as we want to be
able to animate smoothly. It seems that any change with the keys can stop it
(not reliably though) but then somtimes it pops up in other areas :(
It seems to be some type of thing that biped is passing up to physique, but
I dont know what!!
This has become quite a major problem and I'm desperate for any
solutions. I'm using max 4.2.6 and CS 3.21.
TIA
