Job details: Be a part of the most exciting and innovating computer entertainment in North America.
This position is responsible for managing the challenges of the cinematic creative teams as they create sequences for Product Development. They are to act as a leader to the production teams and to create an environment for them to maximize their creative output. The position must have a workable knowledge of major 3D, 2D, and digital editing packages. This position is expected to supervise the daily operations of the department.
REQUIRED SKILLS-This section outlines skills necessary to perform the function. Examples of skill categories are:
PEOPLE: The Manager of CG Production will be required to lead a team of high-profile artists through a production pipeline. The Manager of CG Production should have good conflict resolution skills. The Manager of CG Production will be required to maintain the career path of multiple CG artists. The Manager of CG Production will need to work closely with other group managers to insure the highest quality on target assets are created.
PROCESS: Must be familiar with the process of cinematic and digital media production. The Manager of CG Production should evaluate current pipeline procedures. Pipelines should be implemented, maintained and flexible to match the changing production needs.
TECHNICAL: Must have a strong technical knowledge. Their technical knowledge will be used to make pipeline choices and future advancements. Will be required to lead a team through technically challenging productions.
PLANNING/IMPLEMENTATION: The Manager of CG Production should always have an eye on the future. Part of their job will be having procedures and process in place prior to client requests. Must have the business mind to be able to direct their team into the future.
INDUSTRY: Must have several years? experience in the computer graphics, film, television, and or digital media industry. Must have managing skills.
