TITLE: Senior VFX Compositors
LOCATION: Downtown Toronto
POSTING DATE: April 19, 2007

Summary
IMAX Corporation is looking for a number of talented Sr. Compositors to work on an upcoming film production. We offer a dynamic, fun and creative work environment with the potential for future opportunity.
Major Responsibilities
*Responsible for creating high quality seamless 2D scenes from digital elements
*Produce final 2D touch-ups of images
Requirements
*Experience in a film/entertainment production environment using high end software tools including Digital Fusion or Shake or similar software packages
*Experience with clean plates and rig removal preferred
*Proven ability to learn and master proprietary software tools in a short time
*Proven ability to work under pressure and demonstrate willingness to work overtime and on weekends if necessary
*Ability to take direction and work independently while being an effective team player
Preference will be given to local candidates and those authorized to work in Canada.
