TECHNICAL ILLUSTRATOR

 

Contract work ...on-going basis.

 

Sahara Development Group, Inc. is a small group of Technical Writers and Editors.

We are seeking a Technical Illustrator to support our efforts as we create User Guides, Maintenance manuals, Quick Ref Guides, etc.

 

Requirements:

- Ability to draw 3-D isometric draws

- Ability to use grey-scale to convey depth in illustrations

- Able to interpret and draw from a variety of source material (photos, renderings from engineering, import various formats, etc.)

- Must be ACCURATE and careful to check work before submitting for approval

- Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

- Must have a secure, broadband connection and a closed loop system with up-to-date virus protection and software licenses

- Nice to have: Visio, QuarkXpress, FrameMaker

- Must have samples to prove work

- References REQUIRED
