My client is a worldwide force in video games publishing, responsible for some of the most well known franchises in the industry.

 

As the company continues to grow new vacancies have arisen including the key role of Design Manager.

 

This is a challenging position that will involve managing the External Design team and taking responsibility for shaping the design process.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

- Generate original designs in conjuction with the design team

 

- Review designs presented to the publisher

 

- Take an overview of all titles in the publishers portfolio

 

- Manage and scehdule the external design team

 

- Manage the recruitment of designers into the external design team

 

This is a key position within a major publisher and as such the requirements are demanding. To be considered you'll need:

 

- Extensive games design experience with credits on genuine AAA titles

 

- Lead / Senior experience with the ability to effectively manage and mentor others

 

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to 'sell in ideas'

 

This is a first class opportunity for a highly experienced Lead Designer looking to make a step up.
