Our patented, award winning 3D simulation software enables organizations across industries to build real-time interactive 3D applications that visualize, manipulate, and modify 3D objects.
We are currently seeking an experience 3D Artist to join our Content Creation team to create high quality 3D art content.
Summary
As part of the Professional Service Content Creation team, the 3D Artist at NGRAIN researches, designs and implements high quality 3D art content as assigned by the Team Lead. The 3D Artist will have the opportunity to specialize in one modeling and texturing technique. Passion for 3D modeling, especially in the area of physical modeling, as well as the ability to work in a cohesive team, is critical for the success for this role at NGRAIN.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Create models and textures as assigned by the Team Lead
- Deliver accurate, effective, and visually creative 3D art assets in a timely manner
- Ensure all working files are efficiently organized
- Execute mechanical assembly of art assets
- Manage and maintain art assets
- Develop animated sequences as required by the Team Lead using 3D animation tools
- Participate in photo reference gathering trips
Qualifications Required
- Post –secondary Diploma or Certificate in art education
- At least 3 years previous experience in 3D modeling
- Proficient in using 2D digital paint package, such as Adobe Photoshop
- Proficient in using 3D content creation software
- Proficient in using common productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Good drawing skills
- ood communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to learn and adapt to new 3D software
- Willingness to travel when required.
Qualifications Desired
- Previous 3D modeling experience in physical modeling
- Proficient in using Autodesk 3D Studio MAX.
